Kizz Daniel has broken his silence following reports of a cancelled show in Paris. The singer offered clarification on the circumstances that led to the missed performance.

He also addressed the now-viral “contract breach” letter currently making rounds online. He explained that contrary to speculation, he was fully prepared and ready to travel for the performance, but unforeseen logistical delays and payment disputes between promoters and his management disrupted the schedule.

The situation, which escalated just hours before his scheduled flight from Stockholm to Paris, ultimately resulted in the show’s cancellation sparking mixed reactions among fans and industry observers.

According to a notice from Baron Inc., the agency representing Kizz Daniel, the promoters Chef David Entertainment and Banksx-Adozi Empire Ltd breached their contract by failing to complete payment on time.

The letter dated 9th November 2025 stated that only a partial payment was made just hours before the artiste was due to travel to Paris.

Baron Inc. explained that the late payment made it impossible for Kizz Daniel and his team to board their flight on time. Despite offering the promoters a chance to rebook, no new arrangements were made, leading to the Paris show’s cancellation.

The agency added that all previous payments were forfeited and reserved the right to take legal action.

Responding to the controversy, Kizz Daniel took to his Instagram story to share his side of the story. He stated that he had been ready for the 12:25 p.m. flight since 6 a.m., accompanied by media personality Adesope Shopsydoo, but was held back by Olamide Baron, who wanted to confirm receipt of pending payment from the organisers.

The singer said he wasn’t aware of the delay until later, and by the time the issue was resolved, they had missed the scheduled flight.

He added that the next available flight was for 5:25 p.m., making it impossible to reach Paris in time for the concert.

The situation has also drawn attention to Kizz Daniel’s track record of missed shows in the past.In August 2022, during his Tanzania concert, the show promoter Steven Uwa alleged that the singer refused to perform because his luggage which contained his outfit and gold chain did not arrive on time.

However, he later admitted that emotions were high and blamed poor event logistics for the breakdown. Kizz Daniel later apologised publicly and offered fans a free makeup show.

That same year, during a U.S. concert, the organisers complained about his late arrival, claiming fans waited for hours before he appeared. Kizz Daniel explained that his delay was due to his passport being held by the U.S. consulate, preventing him from travelling earlier as planned.
