“I took a loan” – Woman breaks down in tears as thieves emptied her boutique just weeks after opening

A young Nigerian businesswoman has been left devastated after burglars broke into her boutique and carted away all her goods barely weeks after she opened the store.

In a now-viral video shared by a lady identified as @homotolani, the shop owner could be heard crying uncontrollably as she recorded the heartbreaking state of her boutique.

In her words, she said:

“People are wicked oo, see how they destroyed and broke my shop. There’s no goods inside again… nothing. They have taken everything. This is not good oo. Shop that I opened barely one month. God, where is your face?”

The once neatly arranged boutique had been completely ransacked, with shelves emptied, items scattered, and the entrance forcefully broken open.

Struggling to speak through tears, she lamented the cruelty of the act, while revealing in her comment section that she had worked tirelessly and even took a loan to set up her store.

The emotional video has sparked widespread sympathy online, with many Nigerians expressing anger over the increasing cases of burglary affecting small businesses across the country.
