Afolabi Odunsi-Oyewole becomes Ogun FRSC spokesperson

Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Akinwunmi Fasakin, on Tuesday, announced the appointment of Superintendent Route Command Afolabi Odunsi-Oyewole as the new Public Education Officer for the command.

Recall that the former Public Education Officer, Florence Okpe, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, following a protracted illness.

The Sector Commander in a statement he signed, said Odunsi-Oyewole, would replace her.

The statement reads “The Management of RS2.2 Ogun Sector Command, hereby wishes to inform you that Superintendent Route Command Odunsi-Oyewole David has been appointed as the new Sector Public Education Officer for the Command.

“He hails from Lagos State and has a Master’s degree in Personnel Psychology.

“He has served in various capacities in FRSC formations. He is a seasoned officer”

He reiterated the command’s commitment to guaranteeing the safety of drivers and other road users, urging members of the public to cooperate and assist the new appointed spokesperson as much as possible.
