Sophia Momodu, Davido’s estranged baby mama, has finally responded to the false narratives about their daughter Imade, clarifying the truth behind recent social media claims.
In a detailed note shared on her Instagram story, Sophia emphasized that her daughter is happy, healthy, and thriving in a loving environment.
The mother of one revealed that she has been the child’s primary caregiver for the past five years, covering all expenses except school fees, which have been handled kindly by the child’s paternal grandparent.
Addressing claims about child support, Sophia stated:
“I haven’t received any child support from Davido, but our child knows no lack. She is growing in a safe and loving environment and is very happy.”
She also stated that she has waived all outstanding and future child support claims, taking full responsibility for her daughter’s financial needs.
Sophia further noted that her daughter maintains a healthy relationship with both parents and urged the public to stop dragging her child into fabricated online narratives.
Her statement comes after a critic accused her of preventing their daughter from attending Davido’s 33rd birthday celebration in Atlanta.
