The Director-General of the Atum Humanitarian, Anti-Corruption and Charitable Initiative, AHACCI, Ismaila Atus, has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration will overcome terrorism, banditry, and other security challenges confronting the nation.
Atus disclosed this during a media interaction on Wednesday.
This comes amid heightened abduction in Niger, Kebbi, Kano, and Kwara states in the past week.
Reacting, Atus urged Nigerians to support for Tinubu and country’s security architecture to defeat insecurity.
He added that Nigerians should not lose faith in the administration’s efforts to tackle insecurity challenges.
“We all know what happened in this country. There were several cases of kidnapping and many other issues. But under President Tinubu, I am optimistic things will improve. He is doing everything possible to fix the country.
“We should give him more time. That is why we are asking for his re-election for a second term. With this, Nigeria will be better and more grateful,” he added.
“He is putting all his energy into building the country. We will support him for a second-term re-election so the progress can continue.”
