Children Plead for Their Mother’s Release

The incident has reportedly left her children distressed as they pleaded with their father to pay the ransom to secure their mother’s release.

The post read: “Mother of 3 told her husband she was going to Ibadan, travelled to Abuja to see her boyfriend. Was kidnapped at Abuja, demanded for 50m ransom. Lover cannot raise it, husband refused to pay. Children are begging him to pay, please advise him.”

Netizens Reactions…

@Saint hris  said: “This is a tough situation. The betrayal is deep — she lied, risked her life, and disrespected her family. The husband has every right to feel hurt and refuse to cooperate. But at the end of the day, she’s still the mother of his children. If anything happens to her, those kids will suffer emotional damage for life. My advice: Pay the ransom if he can, not for her, but for the sake of the children. After that, he can choose how to move forward — even if it means walking away from the marriage. Actions have consequences, but so does silence.  Sometimes, mercy speaks louder than revenge.”

@EzeSamuel89 said: “This one hot but for the sake of the children you have to pay only when you have done theDNA to confirm they are yours then after her release the marriage will be over.”

@lemekeosborn1 reacted: “As long as I’m concerned my wife is in Ibadan. Whoever they have there is not my wife and I don’t know her. Even if she says soemthing she and I alone knows,l still don’t know .”

@matho4sure commented: “are u sure say no be she and d lover plan d kidnap?”

@Sincere take said: “The husband should pay the money, but before he pays, he should conduct a DNA test on the children, if they are his, he should pay and free her from the captive and walk away from the marriage afterwards, but if they are not his, just leave her there!”
