Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has appointed Onyebuchi Ememanka as the Director General, Abia State Strategic Communications Bureau.
Ememanka served as the Chief Press Secretary to immediate past Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu during the former Governor’s second tenure.
He however quit his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in May 2025 and declared his support for Government Governor Otti’s administration.
Otti also appointed Igwe Samuel Obinna as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media.
The appointments were contained in a government special announcement signed by Ferdinand Ekeoma, the Special Adviser to Governor Otti on Media and Publicity.
The statement added that the appointments take effect from December 1, 2025.
