Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has reacted to 2Baba Idibia’s recent social media post that sparked widespread concern among fans and colleagues.

On Wednesday, music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia posted a brief but unsettling message on his Instagram Story, writing: “Help me.”

The post, which came amid ongoing public tension involving him and his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, immediately went viral and prompted reactions from celebrities across the entertainment industry.

Responding to the message, Teni shared a video on Instagram calling on fellow artistes Timaya and Kcee to join her in reaching out to the iconic singer.

In the video, she expressed concern and solidarity and captioned it: “2face my legend, we’re coming to save you.”

Her reaction adds to the growing list of public figures showing support for 2Face, whose personal life has been thrust into the spotlight over the past few weeks

The current situation reportedly began in the United Kingdom, where 2Baba and his wife allegedly had a heated altercation that drew the attention of local authorities, resulting in the singer’s brief detention.

Though details remain unconfirmed, the incident has been widely discussed online.

Tension resurfaced soon after during an Instagram Live session hosted by broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where 2Baba and Osawaru were seen arguing in real time.

The exchange intensified public speculation about a possible crisis in their marriage.

Adding to the concern, 2Baba’s brother Hyacinth Idibia posted an emotional message on Instagram on Wednesday, suggesting that the singer has been struggling privately for some time.

“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant… Allow us to save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows,” he wrote.

2Baba’s “Help me” message has since raised alarm among fans who fear the singer may be overwhelmed by the ongoing drama.

While he has not provided further clarification, supporters are urging him to seek proper support and surround himself with people who can help him navigate the situation.

Colleagues like Teni have also emphasised the importance of unity and intervention, signalling that the singer is not facing his challenges alone.

As the situation continues to unfold, many are hoping the family can resolve their differences privately while ensuring the veteran artist receives the support he needs.
