The Journey to the world cup begin as Washington, D.C. hosted the official draw for the 12 groups of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will unfold across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

‎This edition marks a historic milestone as the first World Cup to feature 48 participating nations, expanding the competition and promising even greater excitement.

‎The draw delivered several compelling groupings. Reigning champions Brazil will meet Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti in Group C.

‎England found itself placed in Group L alongside Croatia, Panama, and Ghana, setting up a potentially thrilling matchup against the Black Stars.

‎Other notable highlights include host nation USA, grouped with Australia, Paraguay, and a UEFA Play-off winner in Group D.
