Security is everybody’s business – Lagos Speaker, Obasa

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has said that security is everybody’s business.

Obasa made the assertion at a stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC, held on Saturday in Lagos.

In a statement made available to DAILY POST, Obasa noted that everyone must be concerned about the security of his own environment.

Obasa acknowledged that Nigeria is facing some security challenges but explained that everybody must be involved in fighting against insecurity in the country.

The Speaker affirmed that with the support of all Nigerians, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is capable of tackling the security challenges facing the country.

He said, “We have seen the president in action and how he is innovating and working hard to resolve our many challenges, especially insecurity and we believe he will get it done.

“He is still the man that can do it. That is why we must do everything within our powers to ensure that he is returned in 2027.

“It is about everybody. We must all be involved in fighting this problem.

“We must give the President all the support that we can so that he will succeed in his attempts to redirect the trajectory of Nigeria.”
