A Nigerian couple’s wedding reception turned chaotic after a disagreement over a guest escalated into a public fight.
The drama began when a young man from the neighbourhood arrived during the dance, and the bride immediately jumped up to hug him.
This was reportedly the same man the groom had warned his wife not to associate with.

After the man gave the bride a wedding gift and left, the groom confronted his wife, asking who had invited the man and warning her not to bring the gift into their home.
Angered by his reaction, the bride shouted back, insisting, “I am your wife and not your slave; you can’t tell me who to associate with.”
Tempers flared further when the groom slapped his wife, prompting her to slap him on the chest in return.
At that moment, the husband decided to calm down. A few minutes later, he angrily left the reception and did not return until the event had ended.
