A young lady has sparked reactions online after recounting an awkward and emotional experience involving a man she had feelings for.
According to her, she decided to be upfront about her emotions after believing the man felt the same way. Mustering the courage to speak first, she confessed her interest, only to receive an unexpected response.
The lady said the man told her that he saw her only as a “sister in Christ,” a statement that left her deeply confused, especially because she noted that she was not particularly religious at the time.
She explained that the rejection came as a shock and left her momentarily disoriented, describing how she felt overwhelmed and emotionally affected by the encounter.

“There was one time I told this guy that I liked him. I thought he liked me back so I said lemme say it first. He was like ‘Oh, I only see you as a sister in Christ. At the time I wasn’t even in Christ. So I was very confused, so I just started losing hearing, I couldn’t see properly after that…”
