A lady has sparked mixed reactions online after sharing her shock at seeing what she described as an “albino cockroach” for the first time.
According to her, the unusual insect looked so different that she briefly wondered if it could be an angel in disguise.
White cockroach sighting sparks curiosity and humour online

Some clarified that a white cockroach is not an albino insect but one that has just shed its skin and has not yet darkened.
Others that the white colour is temporary and occurs because the cockroach has not been exposed to sunlight for long.
They noted that within a few hours, the insect’s new cuticle hardens and changes back to its normal brown or black colour.
