President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will embark on a three-state visit this weekend, traveling from Abuja to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
In Borno, the President is scheduled to commission several federal and state projects alongside Governor Babagana Zulum.
He will also attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno Governor Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, to Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Maiduguri, President Tinubu will proceed to Bauchi to offer condolences to the family of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the late prominent Muslim cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who passed away on November 27.
After completing the Bauchi visit, the President will head to Lagos to spend the end-of-year holidays. While in the city, he is expected to be the guest of honour at the Eyo Festival on December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square.
The festival will celebrate notable figures, including President Tinubu’s mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, and former Lagos Governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
