Woman stirs mixed reactions after sharing a personal dilemma involving the paternity of her six-year-old child and a long-standing deception.

The unidentified woman took to a Facebook platform to share this.

Lady pins pregnancy on another man

According to her account, she became pregnant six years ago by a man she described as irresponsible.

Fearing he would not be able to provide support, she falsely claimed that another man she was dating at the time, a traffic police officer, was responsible for the pregnancy.

The officer reportedly accepted the child as his own and went on to provide consistent emotional and financial care, even after their relationship ended.

Lady enters another relationship

The woman explained that she later entered a new relationship and recently became pregnant again. Her current partner and his family have reportedly acknowledged the pregnancy, paid part of the traditional bride price, and welcomed both her and her first child into their home, where he now provides for them.

She now says she wants to tell the traffic officer the truth about the child’s paternity and end his involvement, as she believes her current partner is capable of fully supporting her and the children.

However, she admits she previously told her new partner that the child’s biological father had died several years ago.

Her story has raised questions about honesty, responsibility, and the emotional impact of long-term deception, with many urging careful consideration of the child’s welfare and the potential consequences for all parties involved.

Her words …

“Hi Auntie Momoza. Please keep me anonymous. I had a baby 6 years ago. The guy who made me pregnant was not serious about life, so I pinned the pregnancy on another guy I was dating who is a Traffic Cop because I knew he’d be able to take care of my baby. I don’t wanna lie, he’s been the best father ever. We broke up but he continued to be the best father both financially and emotionally. I met another guy last year and I recently fell pregnant by him. His family came to report the pregnancy and also paid half the lobola. He has been taking care of me and my son. We stay with him in his house. So now I want to tell the Traffic cop the truth that my son is not his but don’t know how. I don’t want him to take care of my son anymore. My current man is capable and I don’t need that dude anymore. I told my man that my baby daddy died 3 years ago. What’s your advice?”
