Following the confirmed report of the incident, a Facebook user identified as Innocent Tito drew attention to President Tinubu’s Christmas message to Christians.

In that message, Tinubu tagged Trump and several other personalities.

The Facebook user suggested that the tag was intentional and could have been a “go-ahead sign” to Trump.

He wrote;

“Wow. I see why Tinubu tagged Trump this morning with the Merry Christmas wishes of Christians. It was a sign to go ahead.”

His statement quickly sparked attention and engagement online, as many Nigerians reacted in the comment section.
