Speaking during an exclusive segment on E-Talk, the Rush hitmaker offered fans insight into their creative partnership and how their connection has deepened over time.
Recalling their very first studio session, Ayra admitted she was extremely nervous.
“I was freaking out,” she said. “It’s Wizkid, after all! I had no idea what to expect and just kept telling myself not to ruin it.”
Despite her anxiety, Ayra said Wizkid’s calm and easygoing demeanor helped ease the tension and allowed her to settle in.
Their dynamic has since evolved significantly. Now, Ayra describes Wizkid as a big brother figure someone who jokes around with her on set and supports her artistic journey.
She added that he often teases her during video shoots, showing how much their relationship has grown beyond just music.
She added:
“He kept saying, ‘Ayra, you’ve grown a lot! What’s the tip? He’s an amazing friend, really. Just being around him is peaceful. We even share the same sense of humour.”
