Barely one week after his call to bar ceremony, a former lawmaker Dino Melaye has appeared in court fully dressed in a judicial robe.

Melaye who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the Eighth Assembly was captured at the Federal High Court Abuja on Friday, July 18.

Also, the former lawmaker in a video post made on his personal Facebook account, Melaye boasted about being in court.

He appeared at the court wearing his legal robe and wig.

This is the former lawmaker’s first appearance since his call to the bar by the Body of Benchers in Abuja.

Melaye in his post informed his followers that he appeared before Justice Emeka Nwite for a court proceeding.

He wrote, “Senator Dino Melaye @ the Federal High Court Abuja today. Appeared before Justice Emeka Nwite of Court 8.

“SDM. IN FEDERAL HIGH COURT TODAY. E DON CAST,” he added in a second post on Facebook.
