Ademola Lookman has been heavily linked with a transfer to Inter Milan in the past week
Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has warned Atalanta that they will not waste time in their negotiations for Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman, Soccernet.ng reports.
Lookman has been linked with multiple clubs in recent weeks. But over the last seven days, Inter Milan has emerged as a likely destination for the Super Eagles star.
News broke earlier in the week that the Nerazzurri had already tabled a €40 million offer to Atalanta for Lookman, but nothing has come out of it yet.
Inter Milan’s sporting director Ausilio has now come out to speak on the issue. He has confirmed that they are interested in the 27-year-old Super Eagles attacker, but they want to make the negotiations quickly and move on so they can sign more players
“Lookman appeals to us. We’ve submitted our offer, and we have an excellent relationship with Atalanta, but we won’t engage in endless negotiations because we have our plans,” Ausilio told Nicolo Schira.
Why Atalanta may not accept Inter Milan’s bid for Ademola Lookman
Inter Milan submitted a €40 million bid for Atalanta earlier this week. But it is unlikely that they will accept the deal.

La Dea value their Super Eagles star at €60 million, and he is not even short of admirers. Barcelona, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are seriously interested in the Super Eagles star.

With these clubs interested in Lookman, Atalanta would not want to hastily sell their prized asset for less. La Dea are expected to make their decision soon.
