Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, is once again in the spotlight following an escalating online feud with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM).

The two have been exchanging heated words for days, with the Zazu crooner recently posting a video criticizing VDM for his harsh comments about President Bola Tinubu amidst Nigeria’s economic struggles. Portable also accused VDM of seeking attention by revisiting the unresolved Mohbad case.

In response, VDM resurfaced an old video allegedly showing Portable being assaulted over accusations of phone and tricycle theft. Not one to back down, Portable fired back by leaking old private clips of VDM and releasing a diss track targeting the activist.

Despite Portable’s retaliation, VDM has remained unshaken, prompting the singer to reach out to his former boss, Ija Omode. In a leaked chat, Portable demanded that his ex-mentor publicly release a video to help clear his name from theft allegations.

Expressing frustration, Portable lamented that being labeled a thief was damaging to his image. He ended the message with strong warnings and curses should Ija Omode fail to act as requested.
