Jennifer Odonwodo, the widow of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has marked their 11th wedding anniversary with an emotional tribute.
Taking to Instagram, Jennifer opened up about the deep mix of emotions she’s experiencing—sorrow over his physical absence and joy knowing that his memory still lives on.
“Today marks our anniversary, but there’s no photoshoot, no celebration,” she wrote with a heavy heart.
She admitted that at times, the pain of his loss becomes so overwhelming that she finds herself telling others he will return someday. Jennifer also shared how deeply comforting genuine hugs have become to her, especially since her husband’s tragic death last year.
She wrote,
