It was weeping galore on Saturday night among Moroccans as the Super Falcons of Nigeria clinched a record 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco.
The Atlas Lionesses were leading 2-0 before the Super Falcons scored three goals to win the cup.
When the referee blew the final whistle, the Moroccan players, spectators and others in the stadium wept uncontrollably.
The coach and other officials were seen consoling the players.

The Super Falcons trailed in the first half by 0-2 after Ghiziane Chebbak scored in the 12th minute and Sanaa Mssuody added another for the host in the 24th minute.
But, the Nigerian girls changed the game in the second half.
Esther Okoronkwo, in the 64th minute, scored for Nigeria through a penalty. Folashade Ijalumusi added the equalizer in the 71st minute while the winner came in through Jennifer Echegini in the 88th minute.
The woman of the match was won by Esther Okoronkwo.
