Groom calls off marriage, calls police to arrest bride

An Indian woman have managed to find herself in trouble with her partner, who ends up calling the police on her.

It was reported that the bride had placed some interesting demands as part of her marriage plans.

The bride demanded from her bride a bear, ganja, and goat meat for her Muh Dikhai.

You probably might be one of those asking themselves what Muh dikhai is right?

Well, it is  a post-wedding ritual that involves the bride lifting her veil for the first time so that the groom’s family can see her face.

The phrase literally translates to “showing the face”. Muh dikhai is a common ritual in many Indian states, and the way it’s performed can vary by region.

It’s also a tradition in Muslim weddings, where the bride enters the wedding hall with her veil on and is accompanied by family members who perform the ritual.
