Ahead of the August 16, 2025, by-election in Kaduna State, the state Police Command has called on residents to conduct themselves peacefully and cooperate with security agencies to ensure a hitch-free election.

This comes as the command has placed a restriction on movement in four local government areas — Sabon Gari, Zaria, Chikun, and Kajuru — ahead of Saturday’s by-elections in the state.
