Arsenal have been handed a boost in their hopes of signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid this summer transfer window.
Rodrygo has been a long-term target of Arsenal, but a move has not yet happened.
The Brazilian had been linked with Manchester City as a potential replacement for Savinho, who was linked with a move to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
However, as reported by Sun UK on Tuesday, Savinho is now set to stay at the Cityzens amid a failed move to Spurs.
Real Madrid are said to be keen to cash in on Rodrygo for £76.8 million.
This comes after Real Madrid recently contacted the Premier League North London club over a potential swap deal for Rodrygo and their defender William Saliba.
Arsenal, however, rejected the proposal, making it clear they would only consider Rodrygo in a straight signing.
