Fans of Nigerian singer Lil Kesh are in shock following reports that the artist was violently attacked in Lagos, leaving him with serious injuries.
According to circulating reports, Lil Kesh was stabbed in the neck during the attack, leaving his skin exposed, while part of his ear was also severed before being successfully stitched back. His jewelry was allegedly carted away by the attackers.
The news has since sparked prayers and concern from friends, colleagues, and fans who have taken to social media to wish the “Shoki” crooner a speedy recovery.
Details about the circumstances surrounding the attack remain sketchy, but Lil Kesh is said to be receiving medical attention and stable.

This is not the first time artistes would be attacked during a robbery.
In January, US-based Nigerian rapper Onome Onokohwomo better known as Yung6ix, recounted how he narrowly escaped death after a foiled robbery attack in Downtown, Los Angeles.
He said the robber shot at his car while he was inside the vehicle but the bullet miraculously missed him.
The music star who shared the shocking experience with his fans on X, said he thought it was an assassination attack.
Days before, disc jockey, Nonso Temisan Ajufo, popularly known as DJ Big N recounted how he narrowly escaped death after a robbery attack in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The disc jockey revealed that he was on his way to a club on the 12th of January alongside an acquaintance when they were ambushed by a gang of six men.
He said he was shot in the leg while attempting to escape during the robbery. He said the robbers took away his jewellery and other valuables worth $114,000.
DJ Big N shared that he was rushed to a nearby hospital and the doctors described his survival as “miraculous.”
