Joe Cole, former Chelsea and England star, has raised a big question mark over Arsenal’s summer signing Viktor Gyokeres.

Cole recently spoke to Hayters TV while suggesting that Arsenal would have signed Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen this summer.

Arsenal had signed Gyokeres from Portuguese side Sporting CP, but Osimhen was linked with the Gunners before he eventually joined Galatasaray on a permanent transfer.

Speaking on Hayters TV, Cole said: “He [Mikel Arteta] has got a centre-forward [Gyokeres] in, but there is still a question mark there.

“It is not like you are bringing in a player like… if Arsenal would’ve gone and signed [Victor] Osimhen, who I’ve seen do it in Italy and in Turkey.

“This kid [Viktor Gyokeres], there is still a question mark. I think he is going to be alright.”
