Napoli president Aurelien De Laurentiis has claimed he rejected a substantial offer from Paris Saint-Germain that would have seen Victor Osimhen join the French side.

PSG were reportedly willing to pay the former Serie A champions €200 million for both Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to De Laurentiis.

Kvaratskhelia eventually signed for the Ligue 1 giants in January 2025, while Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan in the summer of 2024.

In an interview with Corriere della Sera, De Laurentiis said he regretted not accepting the offer.

However, he insisted that manager Antonio Conte was not in support of the deal.

“PSG had offered over €200m for the Kvara and Osimhen package,” he said.

“However, I had promised Conte I would keep him, and I didn’t feel like going back on my word.
