Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, on Saturday made history following his side’s Saudi Super Cup defeat to Al Ahli.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Portugal forward has now becomes the first football player in history to score 100 goals for four different clubs and the national team.
The 40-year-old, who has played for the likes of Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid, achieved the feat after scoring a goal in the Super Cup final.
Recall that the match had ended 2-2 in regulation time and Al-Ahli eventually won via penalty shoot-out.
Ronaldo gave Al-Nassr the lead, scoring with a penalty – his 100th goal for the Saudi Arabia club.
But Ivorian Franck Kessie equalized for Al-Ahli before halftime.
Marcelo Brozovic then gave Al-Nassr the lead again in the second half before Roger Ibañez equalized again for Al-Ahli.
The game went to penalties and Al-Ahli won 4-3, thanks to a crucial save by goalkeeper Édouard Mendy.
