Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate and 2019 “Pepper Dem” winner, Mercy Eke, has sparked debate after demanding a N100 million appearance fee if the show’s organisers decide to hold a reunion for the 2023 All-Stars season.
Eke, who emerged runner-up to Ilebaye in the All-Stars edition, made her position known while reacting to a recent post by fellow ex-housemate Tolani Baj.
Baj had suggested that a reunion for the All-Stars edition would have been the “messiest yet best reunion in history,” given the controversies, rivalries, and unresolved conflicts that defined the season.
“BBN Allstars reunion would have been the messiest yet best reunion in history,” She wrote.
Mercy Eke responded by stressing that such a reunion would surpass local standards and operate on what she described as an “international level.”
She insisted that her participation would only be guaranteed if the organisers were willing to meet her N100 million appearance fee, hinted that the stakes and personalities involved in that season required more than the usual format.
Eke wrote, “I’m so ready, just 100M. Our reunion is going to be on an international level. No side talks, no pity games, no fake tears. Just boss babes and wealthy gents having real grown-up conversations.”

Her remarks have reignited discussions about why the organisers of BBNaija did not stage a reunion for the All-Stars edition in the first place, despite doing so for subsequent editions such as “No Loose Guard.”
For many fans, the absence of a reunion for All-Stars remains puzzling, given the season’s high level of drama, shifting alliances, and heated confrontations that could have translated into blockbuster television content.
The reality show is currently running its 10th edition, aptly themed “10/10.”
