Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has admitted he is “quite concerned” about the injuries suffered by captain Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka following their 5-0 win over Leeds United on Saturday.

Ødegaard picked up what appeared to be a shoulder injury in the first half and was replaced by Ethan Nwaneri.

Saka, who scored the second goal, was also withdrawn in the second half and replaced by Leandro Trossard.

“We have already missed Kai [Havertz] this week and then with Martin it looks like a shoulder injury. We don’t know the extent of that,” Arteta told reporters.

“Then with Bukayo, while he was running and wrestling with a defender, he felt something in his hamstring.

“We will have to see, but I’m quite concerned about that.”
