Troops of Sector 2, Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have killed a terrorist during a long-range ambush around Ndoksa village near Buni Gari in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.

Sources told Zagazola Makama on Saturday that the ambush was based on intelligence reports about terrorist movements in the area.

During the operation, troops neutralised one terrorist and recovered an AK-47 rifle along with two motorcycles.

The source noted that the successful ambush forms part of ongoing aggressive operations aimed at denying terrorists freedom of movement, disrupting their logistics, and safeguarding communities across the North East.
