No one can truncate Tinubu’s second term bid in 2027- Kebbi Governor, Idris

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris has boasted that no one or any form of coalition can truncate or stop the second term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Even in the face of the mountains of opposition struggling to terminate Tinubu’s leadership of the country in 2027, Governor Idris insisted that Tinubu would have his way peacefully and freely into the Presidency.

Governor Idris spoke in Birnin Kebbi, capital of Kebbi State when he received Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria and first daughter of President Tinubu on a condolence visit at Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

He reaffirmed the commitment of Kebbi State people to supporting the second term bid of the President come 2027.

The President’s first daughter was in Birnin Kebbi to condole with the governor and people of Kebbi State over the demise of Emir of Zuru, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Sani Sami, who passed away in a London hospital at the age of 81 years.

The governor said people of Kebbi State have no option than to support Mr President’s second term bid in view of the number of projects he facilitated in the state.

“The leadership style of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is a great one that benefits Kebbi State and Nigeria at large,” he said.

In her remarks, Chief Mujidat Folsade Tinubu-Olo said she was in Government House, Birnin Kebbi and Zuru to condole with the family and the good people of Kebbi State over the death of an elder statesman, the late Emir of Zuru Maj.-General Sami Sami (rtd).

“The purpose of our visit is to condole with the family members of late Emir of Zuru, Kebbi State Governor and the entire people of Kebbi State on the passing of the late Emir.

“We pray to Allah to forgive the late Emir’s shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdausi.

A statement on Tuesday, by Malam Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi State Governor said that Tinubu’s daughter also prayed for the family of the late Emir and the entire people of Kebbi State.
