Kebbi appoints Bello Besse district head of Baraden Dutsin-Mari

The Kebbi State Government has approved the appointment of Bello Marafa Besse as the new District Head of Baraden Dutsin-Mari in Koko-Besse Local Government Area.

Governor Nasir Idris approved the appointment following the death of the former District Head, Alhaji Muhammad Mualliyadi.

Confirming the development in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Garba Dutsin-Mari, said the decision was taken to ensure continuity in leadership and to strengthen traditional institutions.

“The appointment was made to maintain leadership continuity and to reinforce our traditional institutions,” the commissioner stated.

He also extended his congratulations to the new district head and encouraged him to serve his people with commitment.

The commissioner also praised Governor Idris for what he described as his respect for tradition and commitment to grassroots development.

In his response, Bello Marafa Besse thanked the governor for the appointment and promised to serve with dedication.
