Adamawa police seek parents of 10-year-old boy found in Yola

The Adamawa State Police Command has called on the public to help trace the parents of a 10-year-old boy identified as Samson James Daniel.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Command said the boy was found roaming around Tsohon Kasuwa in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area, on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

“A Good Samaritan brought the child to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Jimeta,” the statement explained.

According to the boy, he hails from Mubi.

He also gave his father’s name as James Daniel and his mother’s name as Grace.

The police appealed to the public to provide useful information that can help reunite the child with his family.

“Please assist the Command with useful information in tracing and uniting him with his parents,” Nguroje stated.

The Command advised the parents or guardians to contact the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Jimeta via 09032163862 or reach out to the Office of the Police Public Relations Officer on 08065604764.
