Fifteen players trained at the main bowl of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Tuesday as the Super Eagles began preparations for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda, DAILY POST reports.

The session was overseen by the team’s head coach, Eric Chelle.

The remaining eight players are expected to join the camp on Wednesday.

Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Tolu Arokodare, Victor Osimhen, Christantus Uche, Ademola Lookman, Cyriel Dessers, Samuel Chukwueze, and Raphael Onyedika are all expected in camp on Wednesday.

The Super Eagles will continue their preparations with another training session on Wednesday.

Nigeria and Rwanda will clash in a matchday seven encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday.
