Two arrested for alleged criminal conspiracy, store breaking in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy and store breaking at Kilimi Village, Michika Local Government Area.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said in a statement on Saturday that the arrests followed credible intelligence about a burglary on 5th September, 2025, when suspects broke into a phone accessories shop and stole valuable items.

“Acting on the information, our operatives attached to Gombi Divisional Police Headquarters swiftly responded and apprehended the suspects in possession of the stolen items, including handsets, an MP3 player, a DP light, and a rechargeable table fan, among others,” he said.

The suspects were identified as Hassan Adamu, 25, and Daniel Ishaya, 30, both residents of Michika Town.

“During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime and will be charged to court upon completion of investigation,” The statement added.

According to the statement, the commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, commended the operatives for their swift action and assured the public of the command’s commitment to protecting lives and property in Adamawa State.
