Burnley striker Lyle Foster says Bafana Bafana can head into their crucial clash against Nigeria full of confidence after their comfortable victory over the Crocodiles of Lesotho, DAILY POST reports.

Hugo Broos’ side consolidated their lead at the top of the Group C table with a 3-0 win over Lesotho.

They will host the Super Eagles at the Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein, on Tuesday.

Nigeria will be looking to cut Bafana Bafana’s lead at the top of the log to three points.

The hosts will also be desperate to seal qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a win over Eric Chelle’s side.

Foster believes it is the visitors who will be under pressure to win the game.

“I don’t necessarily think there’s pressure on us. I think at the moment we are where we are in the group and that’s a positive,” Foster was quoted by safa.net.
