The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has postponed four matchday five fixtures, DAILY POST reports.

The postponed matches are the Oriental derby between Rangers and Abia Warriors, Remo Stars’ clash with Kano Pillars, and Kwara United’s home fixture against Plateau United.

The fourth affected fixture is newly promoted side Barau FC’s game against Rivers United.

The postponements were necessitated by Remo Stars, Rivers United, Abia Warriors, and Kwara United’s continental engagements.

A date for the rescheduled fixtures will be announced later by the NPFL.

Remo Stars and Rivers United will face US Zilimadjou and FS Les Aigles du Congo, respectively, in the CAF Champions League preliminary round first-leg tie.

Abia Warriors and Kwara United will take on Malian side Djoliba AC and Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko, respectively, in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first-leg.
