Decomposed Bodies of Mother And Two Children Found Inside Shop in FCT

The decomposed bodies of a woman and her two children have been discovered inside a shop at Tudun Wada Street, Abaji, Abuja.

The discovery was made by the Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the bodies were discovered on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 following a report by a concerned citizen who raised alarm over a foul odour emanating from the shop.

Police detectives, officials of the Area Council Environment Department, and FRSC personnel were deployed to the scene. 

“The shop, which was locked from the inside, was forcibly opened with the assistance of neighbours. Inside, the decomposed bodies of one Nnena Ann Patrick Okorie, 44, her daughter, Christiana, 13, and son Ebube, 9, all natives of Amechi Ohaozara LGA, Ebonyi State, were found,” sources said.

“The corpses were evacuated to Abaji General Hospital, where a medical doctor certified them d3ad and later deposited in the hospital morgue.” 

Investigations had commenced to unravel the circumstances surrounding the d3aths.
