Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov and former England manager Glenn Hoddle have hailed Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, for his brilliant display for Fulham against Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Iwobi was impressive for Fulham against Brentford as he scored a goal and also provided an assist during the encounter at Craven Cottage.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, Berbatov described Iwobi’s pass as ‘unbelievable’, while Hoddle said the former Arsenal star was playing the best football of his career at the moment.

“This is a beautiful pass, it really is. The defenders go with Muniz, he’s seen it, there’s a hole there, a gap to Wilson and what a finish, he’s just kept his balance,” Hoddle said.

“Lovely ball from Iwobi. He’s probably playing the best football of his career at the moment. But that is just a beautiful pass into the corner.”

On his part, Berbatov said: “From the moment the ball reached Iwobi’s feet—what a pass, unbelievable.

“A world-class pass, and the finish was on the same level.”
