Reality TV star Chizzy Francis has spoken out in defense of his fellow Big Brother Naija colleague, Phyna, after a viral video emerged showing her in a heated altercation at a hotel in Abuja.

The video, which circulated across social media platforms, triggered a wave of online backlash against Phyna, with many users criticizing her behavior during the incident.

However, Chizzy took to his X (Twitter) page to address the growing criticism, urging the public to show empathy rather than judgment.

In a heartfelt post, Chizzy reminded critics that Phyna is “human, grieving, and deserves respect.”

He noted that she recently lost her sister and emphasized the importance of compassion during such a difficult time.

He also urged fans and followers to avoid making assumptions about others’ lives without knowing their private struggles.

“Important notice defending PHYNA isn’t optional. She’s human, she’s grieving, and she deserves respect. Bullying her online won’t make you stronger; it’ll just show how weak you are. Choose kindness, or choose to be ignored. To everyone jumping to conclusions and criticizing PHYNA, let’s take a step back. We’ve all been through tough times, and we don’t know what someone’s dealing with behind closed doors. She just lost her sister, and the last thing she needs is hate. Let’s focus on spreading love and support instead. We don’t know what we’d do in her shoes. Let’s be kind, Anyi bu nwanne,” He wrote
