Visibly displeased, Burna Boy said, “Wallahi, I am not performing any song till you go home.” His remark drew surprise from the crowd, who looked as the singer pointed at the couple.

According to the video shared on social media, Burna Boy left the stage shortly after making the statement and refused to continue his set until the woman was escorted out of the venue.

Over the years, he has been vocal about his expectations from his audience, urging them to match his energy during shows.

The woman, commenting under a TikTok post of the incident, said the moment was embarrassing and humiliating for both her and her boyfriend.

According to her, the situation was misunderstood, and Burna Boy made no attempt to find out what was actually going on.

She explained that she has been mentally, physically, and emotionally drained following the recent passing of her daughter’s father, and she attended the show hoping to lift her spirits.

However, she said Burna Boy took a long time to come on stage, and exhaustion caught up with her.

“I am the girl that was kicked out of the show last night. Burna Boy could’ve handled that situation better than that. He had no idea what was going on with me, and he didn’t even care to ask if I was ok. He took forever to come out, and I was tired. We paid to be there, and if I wanted to close my eyes and sleep, I can do that. It is my money that I wasted, not his.” She wrote
