A lady, reportedly a student of the Kwara State College of Nursing, Oke Ode, has gone viral after sharing a chilling video recounting a deadly bandit attack that occurred right outside her church.

Her narration and the disturbing footage she posted on TikTok have drawn massive reactions online.

Bandits Reportedly Enter Community Earlier

According to the student, who posted under the handle @quinnabiola, she first heard rumours that bandits had entered the Oke Ode community on September 27.

At the time, there were no visible signs of danger, but she still felt the need to alert her school group chat.

“I got information that bandits were in the community, and I immediately passed this message across to our school platform,” she said.

“The next day being a Sunday, I assumed everything had died down. I got dressed up and headed to church. This is what I imagined would happen when I got to church on Sunday, but sadly, something different happened.”

But less than 20 minutes after she settled into the service, she said everything changed.

“At 7:45 on this day, I was already in church. Less than 20 minutes after my arrival, we started hearing gunshots. I could see they were shooting in front of our church. We shut all the doors, but the generators were still on at the front of my church.”

The church, located at the entrance of the community, sits in a developing but busy area.

“My church is at the entrance of the community, so it’s in the middle of a very busy area that is just developing. The gunshots went on for about an hour.”

Bodies Found After Gunfire Stopped

When the shooting finally died down, she and her pastor’s family cautiously stepped outside.

“After about an hour, the gunshots seemed to have stopped, so myself, our pastor, and his family started to slowly step out. On stepping out, I sighted 2 dead bodies on the main road. I continued walking the pathway when I then sighted another dead body on the walkway to my church.”

The scenes left her shaken, and she noted that she could no longer remain in the area.

She and other students were reportedly transported out of the community for safety.

Her Viral Video Shows Disturbing Footage

In the video, the student shared clips from the aftermath and also reflected on how quickly life can turn.
