Popular Plateau-based cleric, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has urged Christians across Nigeria to intensify their prayers amid the ongoing “Christian genocide” in the country.

His message came during a visit to Pastor Paul Enenche’s Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, a moment that quickly gained traction online.

Rev. Dachomo paid a courtesy visit to Pastor Enenche, where he addressed the congregation directly.

The preacher, known for his outspoken stance on security issues affecting Christian communities, expressed gratitude to Pastor Enenche for his support during this period of heightened tension.

The clip immediately drew widespread attention, with many Nigerians reacting to the cleric’s emotional remarks.

In his address, Dachomo emphasized the power of prayer, urging Christians not to lose hope despite the insecurity affecting many communities.

“All we need is prayer,”he said. “This God that is living in heaven with His son at His right hand, nothing will stop Him from sparing our soul. Your prayer is more than AK-47. It’s more than a rocket launcher.”

He called on worshippers to “launch their prayers to heaven,” insisting that divine intervention would bring safety and relief to affected areas.

“Let us launch our prayers to heaven, and I’m sure God will hear your prayer and cause a difference in the land. Christians must be safe. There is a genocide in Nigeria, pray for us in Jesus name,”he added.

Reverend Dachomo restated his long-standing claim that Christians in parts of northern Nigeria are facing targeted killings.

He appealed for nationwide prayers, saying lives and communities were at stake.
