“Your Prayer Is More Than AK-47” — Dachomo Tells Worshippers
In his address, Dachomo emphasized the power of prayer, urging Christians not to lose hope despite the insecurity affecting many communities.
“All we need is prayer,”he said. “This God that is living in heaven with His son at His right hand, nothing will stop Him from sparing our soul. Your prayer is more than AK-47. It’s more than a rocket launcher.”
He called on worshippers to “launch their prayers to heaven,” insisting that divine intervention would bring safety and relief to affected areas.
“Let us launch our prayers to heaven, and I’m sure God will hear your prayer and cause a difference in the land. Christians must be safe. There is a genocide in Nigeria, pray for us in Jesus name,”he added.
Reverend Dachomo restated his long-standing claim that Christians in parts of northern Nigeria are facing targeted killings.
He appealed for nationwide prayers, saying lives and communities were at stake.
“There is a genocide in Nigeria,”he declared, urging believers to “pray for us in Jesus’ name.”
