“She fled her husband’s house”- Update on woman who defamed Rudeboy sparks buzz

‎An update about the married woman who defamed renowned Afrobeats singer, Paul Okoye, widely known as Rudeboy has emerged online.

‎Earlier, the married woman identified by the X handle, @chubbiedivah, claimed that the singer raped his maid.

‎ She posted the allegation in a viral tweet, and Rudeboy vowed to take legal action against her.

‎According to the update posted by an X user, JJExckusive, the woman fled her husband’s house after making the allegations, was arrested on Nov 6 2025.

JJExclusive claimed that Rudeboy chose not to share an update about her arrest to avoid any public sympathy.

In his tweet , he shared that  just 24 hours of being detained, the woman complained of shortness of breath and a swollen leg, demanding medical attention.

However, she was released on medical grounds and has been evading court appearances ever since.

According to the tweet, that has left social media buzzing, the married woman is scheduled to appear in court on December 1 2025.

Just only about 24 hours in detention, she started to complain that she couldn’t breath and her legs were swollen and that she needed medical attention. After so much consideration, she was released to visit the hospital while her lawyer pleaded that she would be back unfailingly by the 10th.

Surprisingly, she didn’t come back as promised as her lawyer claimed the health issues was a serious one.

The matter was then adjourned to 17th of November, again she failed to show up, claiming she is still under medical supervision.

However, the next date of adjournment has been re-fixed for 1st of December 2025. The court has ordered that either her or her lawyer must be present in court unfailingly.
