Man files for divorce after his wife hops on stage to kiss a singer during an event

A man has filed for divorce from his wife after she was caught on video kissing U.S. singer Romeo Santos on stage during a live performance.

The woman, identified as Miriam Cruz, joined the bachata band Aventura on stage during their December 28, 2024, concert in the Dominican Republic.

As Aventura performed their hit song “La Guerra”, Cruz remained seated beside Santos, resting her hand on his lap.

Excited by the experience, she shared the moment on her social media account, but later deleted the post after it reportedly led to the breakdown of her marriage.

‘I have to acknowledge that this achievement came at a very high cost: the breakup of my 10-year marriage,’ she wrote in a post.

she added saying: ”For me, it’s not just about admiring the artist, but also about valuing the great human being that he is,’ she added.

‘”I have followed and admired him for a long time.’

Apologising to her husband, she wrote: “‘From the bottom of my heart, I am very sorry. It was never my intention to hurt you.’

“I just hope that, even though we are separated, we can maintain peace and unity for the sake of our children.”
