Former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has stated why his name was not among the ambassadorial list recently submitted to the Senate.

Featuring in an interview on Arise Television monitored by DAILY POST on Wednesday, Sani said he is too young to be an ambassador.

The ex-lawmaker also stated that he still has a lot to deliver to his people in Kaduna State.

“My name has never been on the list for an ambassadorial position.

“I read about a month ago, as a former senator and Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs when I was there, that there are procedures for appointment. You have to get a call, submit your CV, go for security screening, and they have to vet you. But never has my name been among them.

“I think I’m too young to be an ambassador. I still have a lot to deliver to my people in Kaduna State,” he said.
