TY Danjuma carried Nigeria’s destiny on his shoulders – Kwankwaso

Former New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has disclosed that General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd.) carried the weight of Nigeria’s destiny on his shoulders with courage and unwavering patriotism.

Kwankwaso said TY Danjuma has become a guardian of national values, investing in education, and supporting generations of emerging leaders.

He made the remark while celebrating Danjuma on his 87th birthday.

In a birthday message, Kwankwaso said: “With deep respect and profound admiration, I celebrate a distinguished icon of our national history, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (Rtd), as you attain the remarkable age of 87.

“Few individuals have carried the weight of Nigeria’s destiny on their shoulders with such courage, clarity and unwavering patriotism as you have.

“Your service in the armed forces, your role in preserving national unity during critical moments of our history, and your lifelong commitment to the peace and security of our nation stand as a testament to leadership anchored in honour.
