A woman on TikTok has recounted how she met her husband during a period when she was still in a committed relationship with her ex-boyfriend, a story that has stirred backlash online.
According to her narration, she had been in a serious relationship with her former partner for nearly a year when she encountered the man who would later become her husband.
Despite the meeting, she said she remained loyal and avoided any form of communication with him because she was already in a relationship.
Trouble reportedly began just two months into her relationship with her ex, as his behavior changed.
She described him as becoming distant, secretive, and emotionally unavailable, despite her repeated attempts to encourage communication and resolve the issues.
The woman said she turned to prayer during this period and began having recurring dreams that suggested her boyfriend was hiding something significant.
Although she initially dismissed the dreams because she viewed him as highly spiritual, she said her instincts persisted.
A major turning point came during a visit when he ordered pizza, ate most of it himself, and offered her only one slice. She said the incident symbolized a deeper lack of care and consideration in the relationship.
Her suspicions were later confirmed when she confronted him about a Senior High School student he claimed he was helping. She discovered the girl was pregnant with his child, and his reaction, questioning how she found out, confirmed the betrayal.
Despite the revelation, the woman said she briefly considered giving him another chance and even requested to meet the pregnant girl. During the meeting, however, her boyfriend introduced her as his sister, an act she described as the final confirmation that the relationship was beyond repair. She ended things immediately.
On her way home, she reached out to the man she had previously met. After a lighthearted text exchange and sharing photos, she said his response made her realize she had finally found peace. The two later built a relationship that led to marriage.
